How to find your tyre size

There are many tyre sizes, even on the same model of car, the picture on the above shows how the size can be shown on the sidewall.

225 = width of the tyre in mm 45 = profile, that is 45% of width is the height of the tyre, R = Radial type tyre and 17 = 17 inch wheel size.

Please Note

Some cars makes have different size on the rear to the front EG:- some BMWs, Mercedes and Porsche so always check the size on the wheel before ringing about buying tyres.
